Gender gaps dashboard
This dashboard allows you to explore gender gaps among key indicators of well-being for adolescents between the ages of 15 to 19. We use data from the latest Demographic and Health Survey (DHS) and Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS), which rely on a standardized questionnaire, are nationally representative, and are widely used to understand the lives of adolescents.
The map showcases the percent difference between boys and girls. If the region is more purple, the value for the indicator is higher for girls. If the region is more green, the value for the indicator is higher for boys.
